RULES
Follow Directions
Always do your best
Be Respectful of everyone/everything
Share and take turns
Say please and thank you
Raise your hand before talking
Listen when others talk
Clean up after yourself
Work hard and have fun!
All of the rules listed above follow our school wide expectations, a.k.a. the "Bulldog Bs".
Be Respectful
Be Responsible
Be Safe
During the first two weeks of school, I will review the rules and consequences with all of my students in music class. All students will receive a code sheet for www.classdojo.com, a website for parents and students to track student behavior and participation in music class. Please set up a parent account! It's free, easy, confidential, and the best way for me to communicate with parents of such a huge student population (approximately 425 students!).
CONSEQUENCES: No one is perfect. We all make bad choices now and then. The important thing is to learn from our mistakes and prevent the same thing from happening again.
Discipline Procedure:
First =verbal warning (YELLOW)
Second offense=written warning, parent contact, loss of Dojo point and class reward sticker (ORANGE)
Third offense=loss of privileges (no recess or time out of class activities), parent contact, and/or office referral. (RED)
I reserve the right to remove ANY student from the classroom who presents a danger to himself/herself or to others, or acts in an extremely disrespectful or disruptive manner.
